The Basics

Check-in begins at 4:00 pm daily. Check-out is 11:00 am.

We will send a welcome text when your cabin is perfectly ready for you, before the 4 pm guaranteed check-in time. The welcome text will have your access code, cabin number, a property map, and check-in instructions. After receiving the text, you will be able to drive straight up to your cabin, and access it at any time. There is no need to check-in at any office to complete the contactless check-in.

If you arrive earlier than you receive the welcome text, please feel free to hang out around the property.

Yes! Each unit has designated space for one vehicle. If you’re thinking of bringing more than one vehicle, additional parking is subject to availability.

We’re located among the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains on the French Broad River, just a 20-minute drive to downtown Asheville. Our address is 318 Wanderlust Ridge, Arden, NC.

During Your Stay

There’s no shortage of things to do in Asheville and the surrounding area, and lucky for you, we put together a guide with our favorite activities to help you plan your trip!

Yes! We’re delighted to offer free high-speed WiFi across the entire property. You will receive information about logging on at check-in.

Pets & Children

We are happy to offer dog-friendly lodging! Dogs are the only pets allowed, and we can only accommodate dogs under 50 lbs., with a maximum of 2 dogs allowed per unit.

A pet fee of $50 for the first dog and $25 for the second dog, per night will be added to your room charges.

Additional dog policy details:

  • Please add a note in the “Notes” section at checkout letting us know the quantity, size, and name(s) of your dog(s).
  • While we love our pets, not all of our guests feel the same way. For this reason, pets are never permitted in interior public spaces — they are permitted only in our exterior common areas, and only while on leash.
  • Pets must never be left in cabins alone.
  • If unregistered dogs are discovered, or if a pet causes stains or damage to a pet-friendly guest room, a charge of $250.00 will be added to the guest’s credit card on file.

For guests traveling without a pet, we also offer dedicated pet-free lodging options, including our River View Bunk Cabin and Premium River View Cabin with Hot Tub.

Asheville River Cabins welcomes well-behaved children of all ages.

Our Riverview Cabins and Gardenview Cabins are family- and kid-friendly. However, at this time, we are not able to provide any cribs or pack ‘n plays. These units are priced for four (4) guests, though some can accommodate up to six (6) guests for a rate increase of $50 per person, per night. Children and infants do qualify as guests.

Our Looking Glass Cabins and Riverview Airstreams are located on the adults-only area of the property, as indicated on our property map.
