WNC Farmers Market Annual Car Show & BBQ Cookoff
Are you planning your next vacation with Asheville River Cabins and searching for the perfect low key outdoor activity that allows you to get out and appreciate the spring weather and change of seasons in Asheville?
Asheville is home to the largest Farmers Market in the region, the WNC Farmers Market. The market is open year-round, 7 days a week, and the WNC Farmers Market offers a selection of farm-fresh produce at the lowest prices in the region. The retail buildings provide a selection of 194 spaces for farmers and dealers to sell top quality non-perishables, fruits, vegetables, crafts and more and are open daily from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. from April through October. One truck shed is specifically designated for certified farmers who sell what they grow direct to the consumer. The entire market offers over 38,000 square feet of shopping and retail space. The products offered change monthly depending on the availability of produce, herbs or other commodities commonly sold, so you’ll sure to find new products each time you visit.
Just outside the sheds, visitors can also visit Jesse Israel & Sons Garden Center which features top quality trees, shrubs, annuals, perennials, herbs, and bedding plants. As well as a wide variety of fish and water gardening supplies, garden tools and accessories.
To kick off the spring season and the longer Farmers Market hours, several events are taking place this weekend.
